![]() ![]() Seems stream 0 codec frame rate differs from container frame rate: 48.00 (48/1) -> 24.00 (48/2) Max_analyze_duration reachedĮstimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate Over the weekend, I shall play around a little more with known sample/test files and post my observations along with the slightly tweaked US profile for the latest beta (0.5b4) here.īut by far, Serviio is the only server I've used that could play many of the different types of files I have.Ĭode: FFmpeg version SVN-r23012, Copyright (c) 2000-2010 the FFmpeg developersīuilt on 19:05:24 with gcc 3.4.5 (mingw-vista special r3)Ĭonfiguration: -enable-static -disable-shared -disable-ffplay -disable-ffserver -enable-memalign-hack -enable-libmp3lame -enable-w32threads -extra-ldflags=-L/static/lib -extra-cflags=-I/static/include Can someone who has had any success with subtitles, please post what should be done? So right now I am transcoding all files that match "container=avi vCodec=mpeg4" (not perfect, but that's ok until I learn more, I guess) and I haven't yet found a file I cannot play.Īnd also, this firmware does not do subtitles at all for me - neither via USB nor DLNA. One thing I am certain of, is that avi files which has DivX 5 as video codec (MediaInfo tells me this, I could be wrong!) does not play without transcoding.īut the thing is, there is no way to differentiate an avi with XviD codec (which plays fine with a mime-type change to video/mpeg) from an avi with DivX5 codec (which needs transcoding). Most files I have with me plays now, but to be very clear on what is supported and what is not, I'd need some more time. I use a US model of S370 and it would be incorrect to say they cannot play divx and/or mkv files even with profile tweaks. Restart Serviio service after profile changes You probably should also restart your BD Player too in case it has cached menu items. To play in native format we only need to find a proper mime-type, so could you try these 3 profiles:ġ/ mime-type="video/x-msvideo" (from generic profile inherit) It sounds like you have made the correct edits to the profile to adapt it to your preferences (so subtitles at the expense of smooth playback on wifi with seeking) but be aware that the Serviio service must be stopped and restarted for changes to take effect. I'm glad I wrote it this morning - it's mainly to stop angry posts like yours. ![]() Have a read of the Sony BDP Readme thread to understand why it has been set the way it has. Overall the considerations for the device profile are complex. Most other formats are remuxed to m2ts as they were before. ![]() The only tangible difference to a European user would be that avi files now have an mpeg icon on the BDP. The only changes were the audio transcoding, and the merging of the two regions (whose behaviours were identical - native matroska was disabled on both). There were no changes made relating to subtitles or matroska. The profile is not poorly thought out, and has changed very little from 0.5.0 which you say was great. Before that it always defaulted to European since Serviio is European. The various regions of Sony BDP all identify themselves with the same string, and since 0.5.1 the profile is multi-region to remove this need to set the region manually in the Serviio Console (to keep Serviio intuitive). ![]()
